Through each programme, freelancers working in the creative and digital disciplines can continue their professional development, meet local businesses, connect and collaborate with peers, and refine their skills in pitching, finance, and more.
The programme's staple features and services include masterclasses and industry-set briefs through Design Hacks, plus exclusive access to freelance contracts, and regular advice and guidance.
Freelance Exchange first launched in 2022 as a 6-week course to support freelancers in starting, sustaining, and growing their sole business and creative practice, with the ambition to contribute to a growing and well-resourced local community of creatives. Many programme alumni continue to collaborate with our team or are connected with our local partners and employers to access paid opportunities.
