Are you a young creative who wants to know more about Arts Council England Grants and applications?
Join us at the Good Growth Hub for the first of our interactive grants sessions supporting you on how to apply for the Develop your Creative Practice Grant and National Lottery Project Grant where you could be awarded up to £30,000.
Leading the Masterclass will be Franziska Liebig from Arts Council England who is skilled in reviewing Arts Council and National Lottery Project Grant applications.
Following the session, you can book a 1-1 session with Fran to ask any questions about your application. Please note we are limited to a 10 minute 1-1 timeslot for each person, which will take place online or in our Good Growth Hub in Hackney Wick.

MASTERCLASS - 101 to DYCP & NATIONAL LOTTERY PROJECT GRANT + Q&A with successful applicant
During this interactive masterclass, Fran will talk through:
- What a successful and unsuccessful application looks like.
- What the application process is, step-by-step.
- See which grant best fits your project.
- Have the opportunity to ask questions about project grant applications.
1-1 FEEDBACK SESSIONS
- Get 1-1 advice from an Arts Council England professional.
- Please bring a summary of your proposal with you.

Participant information
Please note these sessions are fully funded and free to attend for anyone from Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets or Waltham Forest aged 18-30.
We encourage you to bring your own laptop with you. We will have a limited number of laptops in the hub for use.
To make the most of these sessions, you must:
- Be eligible for the National Lottery Project Grants & Develop Your Creative Practice Grant criteria set by the Arts Council England. You will be a creative based in England, working in the fields of music, theatre, dance, visual art or literature. Please read the full criteria for the Develop Your Creative Practice, set by the Arts Council England.
- Have an idea of what your proposal might include.
- For the National Lottery Project Grant please make sure you have set up an account on the Grantium. Find more information on the Arts Council website on how to do that.
Please note it can take up to 10 days to confirm your account.
