Creative Connect is designed to support young East Londoners with access to industry-specific career coaching that practically guides pathways into working in the creative, cultural, or digital sectors.
Held either online or in-person at the Good Growth Hub, young people can book a 1-hr slot on Tuesdays or Wednesdays to discuss creative jobs or opportunities to apply for. This includes feedback on CVs, cover letters, and application forms, as well as pre-interview assessments – all designed to ensure young people can confidently put their best foot forward and are equipped to land creative careers.
The 1:1 sessions are supplemented with small group workshops with up to six other people. Whether you know what you’d like to explore next or are unsure of your options, the Creative Connect service is a useful resource for all young people at any stage of their careers.
As part of the Creative Connect service, we also offer feedback on your existing work or portfolios (un-related to a new job prospect on the horizon), and help you navigate the job market by carefully guiding you towards new job opportunities that match your skills, learning goals, and creative career aspirations.
Creative Connect first launched in October 2021 as part of the Good Growth Hub's core offer.
