Ellis graduated from Kingston School of Art with a BA in Graphic Design. Their creative work often brings together their interests in research, writing, and design in the form of editorial projects and self-published books. With a tactile design practice of printmaking and book arts, Ellis' publishing work has always been a way for visual arts and writing to meet, as well as a vehicle to gather and share the work of other creatives.
As someone that loves to work collaboratively, I am really looking forward to becoming part of a community of creatives through the STEP programme, developing long lasting connections and learning from others. With the range of support available through STEP from mentoring and my placement, I am excited to pursue my passion for writing on design and visual arts, and develop my skills further.
Ellis took on the role of Junior Writer at It's Nice That as part of STEP 10 in April 2024.
