Miranda has always had a love for visual arts from studying photography and film at A-levels. She continued her studies at Art Foundation and went to Goldsmiths to study Fine Art & History of Art. Throughout her education she always focused on film and drew a lot of inspiration from filmmakers. Miranda is really interested in getting involved in the exhibition sector of film/arts industry including distribution, programming, curating and producing events etc.
She enjoys art and film that pushes boundaries and particularly loves learning and hearing new stories relating to individual personal experiences. Miranda has a collection of random interests and hobbies such as gardening, cooking, reading, psychology, mental health, accessibility, music, film and interior design.
She is most looking forward to working with the other STEP applicants in this years programme and learning about their placements and sharing her experiences in her role. She is excited to become a part of a creative community which will hopefully build lasting connections as she has never really felt she had that in East London (even though she grew up here.)
